Make Christmas extra special for your kids this year with these cute Santa envelopes.

I love making things to help you bring the magic to your kids’ lives. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays so I wanted to make these cute North Pole envelopes for letters from Santa and there’s even an envelope at the end for a letter to Santa Claus.

Each letter from Santa envelope has a return address in the left top corner, a stamp in the right top corner and a postmark.

You can write in your child’s address to personalize the envelope and make it magical for your little one.

When cut out and folded each Santa letter envelope is approximately 7 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall.

I used the same postmark on each envelope that way if you have more than one child, it will be consistent across all of the envelopes and there won’t be any explaining to do.

If your kids are older or smarter than most and may recognize the handwriting, I also have an editable version of each Santa envelope in my shop that you can personalize in Canva. Full instructions are included and it’s super easy to do even if you’ve never used Canva before.

How To Print And Use The Santa Envelopes

Click the link for the Santa letter envelope you’d like to print.
A PDF file will open. Please note that I share my free files through Google Drive. If you have trouble downloading and you’re on a school or office network, they may block file sharing of this type. Try from your home or mobile device network instead and it should work.
Once the PDF has opened, use the icons in the top right corner to print or download your North Pole envelope.
When your print menu pops up, you can change the settings to get the largest possible size. To do this choose the “Fit to paper” option under more settings. This will print the Santa envelope without the margins that are your default setting and result in a larger envelope.
You can print these on printer paper or light cardstock for the most realistic results.
Cut around the edge of the envelope and then fold on the contrasting dotted lines. These lines may be a little difficult to see because I made them as thin as possible to make the Santa envelopes look authentic and not be noticed when the envelope is assembled.
Glue or tape the two side flaps under the large back flap.
Insert your letter and glue or tape the triangular top flap to the back flap. Double sided tape works perfectly for this if you happen to have any on hand.
Write your child’s name and address in the center of the front of the Santa Claus envelope and deliver it to them with your mail or on Christmas morning.

***Because these envelopes are smaller than an 8.5″x11″ sheet of paper once folded, you can either cut off the margins on your Santa letter or set your paper size to a smaller size when printing your Santa letter so it fits inside the envelope. Or you can just make an extra fold to shorten the width of the letter for it to fit.

Santa Envelope

This Santa letter envelope has the traditional candy cane stripes that you think of when you think about Christmas.

There’s a cute return address sign in the left corner from Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole.

To make it authentic and official, there’s a gingerbread cookie stamp in the top right corner as well as a Santa Claus postmark.
