I was inspired to make these free printable Halloween bookmarks to celebrate two of my favorite things…Halloween and reading!
I’ve always loved Halloween stories. When I was in third grade, I won a contest for writing a story about how Halloween started.
This was before you could look up anything on the internet. The assignment was to write a story about the origin of Halloween.
I don’t exactly remember what I wrote, but I know it was along the lines of people wearing paper bags on their heads as masks. LOL
Apparently, my teacher thought it was pretty good since I won the prize of a Pizza Hut personal pizza 🙂 That was the best!
