Kids love playing games. This Halloween charades game is great for a Halloween party game or some spooky family fun in the month of October.
I’ve made free printable Halloween charades cards for you. There’s something to act out on each card as well as a picture relating to that thing. For younger kids, they can act out what’s on the picture instead of the words if they’re too young to read.
Halloween charades is not just fun and silly. It’s also a great way for kids to learn confidence, turn-taking, creativity and imagination, problem solving, and non-verbal communication. Plus it’s a great way to get them up and moving for a little exercise.
There are 48 different free printable Halloween charades cards for hours of fun.

How To Play Halloween Charades
- Divide your group into two teams. One player will go first to be the actor.
- The first player draws one of the cards to see what they’ll be acting out. They cannot use words or sounds at all. Only acting and movements are allowed.
- Set a timer for the amount of time you want each turn last.
- Players can show “it sounds like” by pointing to their ears, or tell the number of words by holding up their fingers with the number of words.
- Each time a team guesses correctly within the set amount of time, they get a point.
- Each team will take a set number of turns. You decide how many that is.
- Tally up the points to see which team is the winner.
