Free Printable Back To School Tags (Editable)
It’s back-to-school time and it’s an exciting time for students. They want to meet their teacher and see what friends they have class with. It makes the day really special if they receive a thoughtful gift from their teacher or another student.
These free printable back-to-school tags are perfect for teachers to give students or for students to give their classmates because they can be edited at the bottom with a name or special message.
You can have a different message on each tag or edit them so they’re all the same. The sky’s the limit!
These back-to-school tags are perfect to put on these cute apple truffles, my s’mores pencil goodie bags or my pencil shaped rice krispies treats.

They also look really cute on my pencil-shaped back-to-school goodie bags.

How To Use This First Day Of School Treat Bag Tag Free Download
- Download the free PDF below by clicking the link near the end of the post.
- Open the PDF and you’ll see a light colored box at the bottom of each back-to-school tag. This is where you can enter your custom text.
- Type in whatever name or message you want. If the text isn’t centered, try backspacing or hitting the space bar a few times to line it up.
- Print out on cardstock, cut them out, and attach them to your treat bags for the first day of school.
- Using a hole punch for the string hole is the easiest, but if you don’t have one you can just poke your scissors through that area to make a hole.
