To edit the first day of school sign, just get the free download PDF below.

When you open the PDF file, you’ll see a small blank box to each side of the rainbow. Those are for the years that the school year covers.

You’ll see a larger box where you can put in the grade your child is going into this year and another box for your child’s name (on the rainbow one), the school name, or whatever you want to put there.

The boxes on the PDF will not show when you print out the first day of school sign. They are only there as an indicator of where you can type your custom text in.

If your text doesn’t look centered, add a few spaces before the text until it lines up in the center.
