How To Play Camping Bingo (Traditional Play)
There are 9 different camping bingo cards and one call card. If you have a larger group, you can put the kids in teams or print out multiples and have more than one winner.
Each player will need one Camping Bingo card and something to mark the spaces with. They can use a pencil or pen to mark, a fun candy or treat, or small rocks that they find at the campsite.
One person will need to be the designated caller to call out the items for players to mark on their camping Bingo cards.
The caller can cut out the call card items and place them in a bag to pull and read out, or read them directly from the call card in a random order and mark each one off as they go to keep track of the ones already used. As each object is called out, the players mark the items off their Camping Bingo card.
When a player has filled a complete row up and down, diagonal, or across, they yell out “Bingo” and they are the winner. You can give a little prize to the winner if you wish.
How To Play Camping Bingo (Scavenger Hunt Style)
If you want to make the camping bingo game a little more challenging, you can have kids look around your camping area for the items on the bingo card and mark them off as they find them. From tents and campfires to animals and nature objects, it turns the outdoors into a fun scavenger hunt-style game.
You can play it:
- Around your campsite
- On a hike
- At a campground
It’s a great way to keep kids engaged and excited about being outdoors.
You can give a prize to the first person to mark off all of the camping objects in a row.
