3 Ingredient Funfetti Dip
This delicious dessert dip is not only a kid-friendly dessert, but adults can’t get enough of it either! Bring this amazing funfetti dip to your next party and tickle your friends’ taste buds with this yummy cake batter flavored dip, bursting with colorful classic funfetti sprinkles.

It’s great as a birthday party dessert, but it’s so simple to make that you can whip some up to satisfy your sweet tooth in just 5 minutes.

For me, the highlight of baking with my mom or grandma was getting to lick the bowl. One of my all-time favorite flavors was funfetti. Whenever we made a funfetti cake, I couldn’t wait to dip my finger in the bowl for that sweet vanilla cake taste and those delicious colorful sprinkles!

So I thought, why not bring those same delicious funfetti flavors to a dessert dip?! This recipe only has 3 ingredients and one optional ingredient, so you don’t have to break the bank making it.

Mistakes To Avoid When Making Funfetti Dip
- Because of the funfetti cake mix in this dip, it can thicken over time. I recommend making it only a short time before you’re serving it or eating it. A few hours will be fine, but I wouldn’t make it up a day or more before.
- The sprinkles on top of the dip are optional. If you choose to put the sprinkles on top, please note that some sprinkles may bleed onto the dip after sitting for a while. This will depend on what sprinkles you’re using. For the best results, add the sprinkles just before serving.
- You’ll want to heat treat your cake mix for this funfetti dip because raw flour could potentially contain harmful bacteria. Please don’t skip this step!

How To Make The Funfetti Cake Dip
Heat treat the cake mix in the microwave for 30-second intervals. Stir between each heat session. The cake mix is safe to eat once it reaches 165 degrees. I usually heat for 1-2 minutes total.
Mix cake mix and pudding, in a large bowl, then fold in whipped topping.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
Top with sprinkles right before serving (optional).
