Instructions
Heat treat the cake mix in the microwave for 30 second intervals. Stir between each heat session. It will be safe to eat once it reaches 165 degrees. I usually heat for 1-2 minutes total.
Mix cake mix and pudding, in a large bowl, then fold in whipped topping.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
Top with sprinkles right before serving (optional).
Notes
If adding sprinkles on top, do this right before serving to avoid the color bleeding onto the dip.We heat treat the cake mix in this recipe because raw flour can contain potentially harmful bacteria.This dip may thicken over time so it is recommended that you prepare it the same day you're serving it.
