Materials

Chips

  • 6 Pieces Flour Tortillas
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Oz. White Chocolate Melts
  • 2-3 drops Oil Based Red Candy Coloring

Dip

  • 8 Oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Valentine Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

The Chips

  • Pour the ground cinnamon into the bowl of sugar and mix them together.
  • Lay the tortillas on a flat surface like a cutting board. Then use the heart cookie cutter to cut out heart shape pieces. Place hearts as close together as possible to maximize the amount of chips you can get from each tortilla.
  • Put the heart tortillas on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter and put it in a small bowl.
  • Add 2-3 Drops of oil based red candy coloring and mix it.
  • Using a pastry brush, paint the tops of the heart tortillas until completely covered. Let the color sit for 2-3 minutes then repeat on the other side.
  • Place the heart in the air fryer, try not to over lap too many tortillas at a time. Fry them on 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
  • Immediately after taking the chips out of the air fryer, place the chips in the cinnamon sugar mix. Be sure to cover both sides of the chips.
  • Put your chocolate melts in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir the chocolate and then put it back in the microwave on 15 second intervals until they are melted.
  • Put the melted chocolate in a piping bag, secure the end and cut a small hole on the front tip. If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a sandwich bag, but you'll need to cut the tiniest hole possible.
  • Drizzle zigzag lines across each heart chip.

The Dip

  • Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature on the counter.
  • Put the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Mix the items on low with a hand mixer and pour the heavy whipping cream slowly along the side of the bowl.
  • Mix all the items together until the dip is fluffy and smooth.
  • Place the dip in a serving bowl and put sprinkles on top right before serving. The sprinkles color may bleed into the dip depending on the sprinkles you use.
  • Put the heart chips on a plate and place them near the dip.
  • Serve and Enjoy!!

Notes

-Don’t throw away the scrap tortilla pieces. Repeat this recipe for them as well to have extra chips.
-If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake these heart chips at the same temperature and time frame as above. Just be sure to check them as they bake.
-The chips can be stored in a cool dry place for 3 days.
-The dip can be stored in an air tight container, in the fridge for up to 3 days. The color on the sprinkles may bleed on the dip so if you want your dip to stay white, remove them.
