Ingredients

  • 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • Caramel ice cream topping
  • ½ cup Heath toffee bits
  • Dippers: Apple slices graham crackers, cookies, pears, or pretzels work great

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Be sure you've allowed it to soften on the counter before doing this!
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture out on a serving plate.
  • Top with caramel sauce.
  • Sprinkle the Heath Bar bits over the caramel sauce.
  • Serve the dip immediately with sliced apples, graham crackers, pretzels, pears, or cookies.

Notes

If serving this dip with apples (which I highly recommend), you can keep your apples from browning as fast by soaking the apple slices in water with a pinch of salt. Don't worry, it won't make the apples taste salty. Salt is a natural preservative and slows down the browning process.
