Looking for something quick and easy to make for Easter dinner that will also impress your guests? I love chocolate covered strawberries and brought them quite a few times to my family’s Easter party. Making your chocolate covered strawberries look like carrots and displaying them with a chocolate bunny makes them even better!

First, wash your strawberries really well and dry them. I rinse mine in a strainer.Once they’re rinsed, I dump them onto one side of a clean kitchen towel. I fold the other side of the towel over and roll the strawberries around to get all sides dry. This is the easiest way I’ve found to get them really dry.
Place your Candy Melts in a microwave safe bowl that is just big enough to fit the candy. You want the melted candy to be deep enough to dip your strawberries. I use the Wilton Candy Melts because they set up perfectly every time. Other chocolate has to be tempered in order to harden at room temperature. These melt perfectly and set up perfectly. They’re so easy to use!
Attach your chocolate bunny by placing about a half teaspoon of melted chocolate on your platter where you want the bunny to stand. Place the bunny on top of it and press down a little.
After your candy is melted, dip your strawberries trying to get the chocolate as close to the stems as possible so barely any strawberry shows.
Place your dipped strawberries on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. I forgot to buy wax paper so I used a brand new non-stick cookie sheet and greased it with butter and the strawberries came off really easy. So, that’s a tip if you’re spacey like me and forget your wax paper 😂.
Now we drizzle the chocolate covered strawberries to make them look even more carrot-like.
After they’ve set, assemble them around your bunny!
